Listening Books: Who we are, what we do
Welcome to Sound Learning from Listening Books. We provide audiobooks on MP3 CD and via internet streaming for those who find it difficult to read or hold a book due to illness or disability, which includes special educational needs such as dyslexia. We have a huge range of audiobooks available for our members, starting from age 7 and going right up to an adult library. Sound Learning is our educational initiative which covers the national curriculum from Key Stage 2 to A-level, providing set texts and study guides for English, as well as books to support other areas of the curriculum such as citizenship, science, history, religious studies and geography. “My son has benefited greatly from audiobooks, he finds an enormous amount of pleasure since being introduced as there are so many titles to choose. He has acquired a great wealth of words and knowledge.”
